Handwara, Oct 27: In order to ensure smooth and uninterrupted supply of basic amenities to the public in view of up coming Winter Deputy Commissioner, kupwara, khalid jahangir today conducted extensive tour of Handwara town along with officers of various departments to take on spot review stock of essentials, supply of drinking water, power and medicines.
Deputy Commissioner also passed directions to the Exn PHE and PDD to ensure supply of clean water and electricity so that the general public should not face any inconvenience. He visited many government offices including Handwara hospital and checked the attendance of officials._
Later Deputy Commissioner along with Tehsildar Handwara and Exen R&B visited District Hospital Handwara and inspected different wards and interacted with the patients, attendants and hospital administration. He directed for ensuing heating arrangements, free medicines and other facilities in the hospital so that patients do not face any problem.He also met public and listened their grievances and assured timely redressal of the same..
