Kupwara, March 21 : District Development Commissioner Kupwara, Khalid Jahangir today conducted an extensive tour of the main town kupwara to take stock of various ongoing developmental works executed by Jammu and Kashmir Projects Construction Corporation (JKPCC).
During his visit, DDC inspected progress of work on Academic Block and Administrative Block for Women’s College at Salkoot, constructed at an estimated cost of 16 crores. It was given out that 95% work has been completed on the first floor of Academic Block and work is in progress on remaining part. The work on administrative block is also in progress.
The DDC directed the concerned officers to gear up the pace of work for completion by the month of May, 2018. DDC also visited District Hospital Kupwara and inspected the progress of work on 100 beded District Hospital Building which is in the final stage of its completion. DDC directed the CMO to speed up the pace of work, so that people of the district avail its benefits soon.
Meanwhile DDC also inspected the ongoing work on Lecturer Block in Government Boys Degree College kupwara constructed at an estimated cost of Rs 540 lacs. He directed the concerned to put in coordinated efforts for meeting the deadline fixed for the completion of the project.
