Srinagar, April 15 :The Kangan youth who was critically injured during clashes last week has succumbed to his injuries.
Aamir Ahmed Lone was seriously injured after clashes erupted in Kangan following the death of Gowhar Ahmed Rather in police action.
Reports said Amir this morning lost his battle for life at SKIMS Srinagar.
Meanwhile, security has been beefed up in Kangan to prevent possible protests.
This is the 2nd death in the town this month. Earlier a youth Gowhar Ahmed was killed after being fired by a cop who was later suspended till pending inquiry.
