Protest in Handwara against women’s killing.

Protests erupted in Unsoo village of Handwara town in Kupwara district of North Kashmir against the killing of a woman identified as Misra Bano during gunfight at Unsoo village. As per reports protesters placed the body of the woman on a road to protest the killing. DIG North Kashmir V K Birdi said that the woman was killed in the cross-fire after she tried to escape from the house where the militants were trapped.
