Pulse polio immunisation booths installed in Kupwara at various spots

pulse Polio drops booths  were installed in all the blocks across district Kupwara. The Block Medical Officer(BMO) doctor Fareed Shaheen  briefed about the arrangement put in place at at all 10 Medical Blocks of the district about 136262 children upto 5 years  of age have been targeted under First phase of pulse polio immunisation  (PPI),  for this purpose 728 booths have been established with the strengthened staff  across district and a total number of 2920 employes from different departments besides 52 medical supervisors and 146 medical teams were deployed for the  successfull  drive.

Block Medical officer Doctor Fareed appeled the parents to get their new born and upto 5 years aged babies at their nearest Polio booth to  administer Anti Polio drops for their best future. Block Medical Officer Dr Fareed also inspected  various booths  in the district and instructed all the in charges for the smooth run of the pulse polio day and benifit  all  with the drops.

We have sent all the  needed drops to every corner  of the district that includes  the far flung areas some day ago to tackle any natural cause Dr Fareed BMP said. In every booth located in far flung areas are functioning  properly  and people are appericating  the best efforts of  our medical teams deployed in different  areas of the district BMP Dr Fareed said. However locals hailed the arrangenments  made by District hospital Kupwara for the proper run of pulse polio  day, We are much thankfully to BMP Kupwara Dr Fareed for such efforts  some locals said.
