Three army men were injured in cross-border firing

Three army men were injured in cross-border firing and shelling last evening along the Line of Control (LoC) in Poonch district of Jammu and Kashmir.

Sources said that the armies of both the countries traded heavy fire and shelling in Krishna Ghati sector last evening. They said that Pakistan army fired at Indian positions, which was effectively retaliated by the Indian side.

However, three army men were injured in the firing. The injured were identified as Havildar Lakhvinder Singh, Havildar Balbir Singh and Lance Naik Charanjeet Singh. Two among the injured were airlifted to Udhampur for specialized treatment, they said.
