Clashes erupt in north Kashmir’s Bandipora against Shopian killings

A witness said that scores of youth assembled at Papchan Chowk and hurled rocks at the forces deployed there. The forces responded by firing tear gas, triggering further clashes. The clashes were going on when the last reports came in.

Reports of clashes were also received from Gulshan Chowk Bandipora. Meanwhile, a complete shutdown is being observed across the district to protest the killings of a militant and four civilians in army firing in Pahnoo village of Shopian last night.
