Police party of police station Soura headed by SHO Soura Inspector Ayaz Geelani under the supervision of SDPO Hazratbal sh Rameez Rasheed Bhat, apprehended two notorious drug peddlers namely 1. Aarif Ahmed Mir s/o Mohd Ashraf r/o Umer colony Lalbazar and 2. Waseem Ahmed Dar s/o Gh Mohdin Dar R/o Hakeem Mohalla Lalbazar and recovered 28 bottles of codeine phosphate from their possession . Case FIR no 11/18 u/s 8/22 NDPS registered against the accused and both the accused arrested. The arrested drug peddlers were selling these drugs to youth of soura area on choicest rates. People of the area have hailed the drive of srinager police against drug peddlers.
