Screening test for Contractual Lecturers to be held on March 2nd

The screening test for the engagement of Contractual Lecturers on academic arrangement in Kashmir Division has been postponed and will now be held on 2nd March 2018. This was stated by Director School Education Kashmir, Dr. G.N. Itoo while talking to Media Centre SIE Kashmir in GHSS Kothibagh in a conference of the Head of the Educational Institutions and Zonal Education Officers of District Srinagar. He said that the exam which was scheduled to be held on February 27, 2018 has been postponed due to the reason that KAS (Mains) examination is scheduled on the same date. The aspirants for the Contractual Lecturers had appealed for the postponing of the examination which was scheduled on 27th February 2018. Keeping in view the demands of the aspirants the Department postponed the examination and now it will be held on 2nd March 2018.

In the conference DSEK stressed upon all the Head of the Institutions and Zonal Education Officers of the Srinagar to provide a friendly and homely environment to the students so that their interest in learning process is enhanced. It is pertinent to mention here that DSEK had called for an interaction with all the Head of the Institutions of the Srinagar District. Speaking in his welcome address, Chief Education Officer, Srinagar Farooq Ahmad Dar highlighted the motive of the meeting.

Apart from Joint Directors Abid Hussain, H R Pakhru, Suraya Bano, Suraya Akhtar and Incharge Academics Sana ullah Mir all the Principals of Higher Secondary Schools and Zonal Education Officers were also present.
