Police arrests duo along with pistol and currency in Kashmir capital Srinagar

Srinagar : Police arrested two persons along with arms and ammunition and Indian currency here in Kashmir capital Srinagar. Police sources said that acting upon a tip off, a special team detained two persons near Iqbal Park Srinagar. Sources added that during frisking a pistol, 2 magazines and Rs. Ninety thousand were recovered from them.

A police official wishing anonymity that an FIR vide number 5/2018 under Arms Act have been registered at Police Station Shergari. He identified the arrested duo as Muhammad Yousuf Tantray son of Ghulam Muhammad Tantray of Bharampora Reshiabad Sopore and Mehrajuddin Mir son of Muhammad Sultan Mir, a resident of Bratkalan Sopore.
