Army’s patrolling party attacked in Handwara forests

Srinagar, May 30 (GNS) : Militants on Wednesday late night attacked army’s patrolling party at Qaziabad forests in Kralgund area of Handwara in north Kashmir’s Kupwara district.
Official sources told GNS that a group of militants opened fire upon the army party in the forest area. The fire, according to sources, was retaliated, triggering off a brief gunfight.
When reports last came in the searches to trace out the militant group is going on in the area. (GNS)
