To observe large scale IEC activities and saturation of 7 identified ongoing flagship schemes in Block Langate , Mr. Vinesh Pachnanda, Under Secretary, GOI and also Nodal officer for EGSA for district Kupwara accompanied by Dr. Firdous Ahmad Bmo Sogam laisan officer visited nine targeted villages viz, Glura, Kultra, Puhrupath, Yunsu, Wahi Pora, Hari Pora, Marat Gam, Hangah and Lach of Block Langate, district Kupwara.

• During the visit, overwhelming participation of villagers was seen. The villagers were made aware about to observe and the 7 flagship schemes Viz, Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojna, Saubaghya Sahaji Bijli Har Ghar Yojna, Ujala Scheme, Jandhan Yojna , PM Jiwan Jyoti Bhima Yojna, PM Suraksha Bheema Yojna and Mission Indradhanush. The purpose of special intervention of the GOI Nodal Officer is to speed up proper implementation of these schemes and to make such schemes accessible to the general masses so that they can be made proper beneficiaries of such schemes. The concerned line Officers of these schemes also shared detailed charter of activities to be undertaken in these villages during the EGSA.
• The GOI Nodal officer further emphasizied that the real objective of the Abhiyan is to promote social Harmony, reach out to poor rural households, obtain feedback on ongoing programmes, enroll in new initiatives, enhance livelihood opportunities and reiterate national priorities such as cleanliness and strengthening the administrative set up at the District & Block level for welfare of the villagers.
• The GOI Nodal Officer further lauded the efforts of the District Administration for rolling out the Abhiyan in the respective Blocks of the district in a well planned and dignified manner. Further, the Nodal officer instructed that the concerned officers should leave no stone unturned and should contribute with Zeal and Zest to achieve 100% saturation under the 7 flagship schemes in the targeted villages upto 15th August, 2018. The Implementation of Abhiyaan in the targeted villages should bring the fruitful outcomes and the essence of such an event should not be compromised. The public interaction camps were mostly held in the respective villages at Sub- Health Centers and Govt. schools to spread the message widely to reach the targeted people and
create the required awareness. It was further noted by the GOI Nodal Officer that the initiatiatve taken and the efforts put forth by the Block Medical Officers in organising public interactive sessions with the villagers were quite laudable and have the desired impact.
