‘Governor dissolves Assembly under pressure’ Murder of democracy in Kashmir : Saifuddin Soz

Srinagar,Nov 21, In a bid to control the affairs of Jammu Kashmir particularly Kashmir directly from New Delhi, Governor Satya Pal Malik dissolved State Assembly tonight.
PDP Chief Mehbooba Mufti had staked the claim to form the government with the support of Congress and National Conference. Sajad Lone with the backing of BJP and Ansari brothers followed suit and wrote the Governor that he can also form the government.
Senor Congress president Saifuddin Soz termed the decision of Governor as murder of democracy. He added that Governor can’t justify his verdict as it is the direct attack on what he called Democratic set up. He added that Governor took this decision under pressure.
National Conference leaders said that the decision of Governor can be challenged in the court of law. They said the decision has been made on the behest of BJP as they couldn’t have prove their numbers.
Senior Journalist Anuradha Bhaseem while expressing shock over the Governors decision said till yesterday when there were rumours that Sajad Lone will form the government with the support of BJP, Givernor was ok with it, but when NC, PDP and Congress staked the claim, assembly was desolved and it shows hypocrisy of New Delhi.
