President and Vice-President of MC Langate elected

Kupwara, Nov 19: The election for President & Vice President was  conducted today  in the  Community Hall building of Municipal Committee Langate in pleasant atmosphere, observed by Tehsildar Langate in presence of Executive Officer, Naib Tehsildar & SHO Police Station Langate.

According, Mohd Sadiq Mir was elected as President and Feroz Ahmad Pandith was elected as Vice President (un-opposed).

In addition to above, it is in place to mention here that out of 13 wards, 10 candidates have been elected as Ward Members, wherein, Feroz Ahmad Pandith  won the election for ward No. 05 & ward No. 06, but vacated his seat from ward No. 05. Three wards remain un-represented.
