Militant hideout unearthed near Hizb commander Riyaz Naikoo’s village

Pulwama Dec 26 : A militant hideout was busted by the government forces during a search operation in Awantipora area of south Kashmir’s Pulwama district on Wednesday. A police source said that a hideout located in Badriwan forest area of Awantipora was busted by the forces today morning.
The area is close to Beighpora, which is the native village of top Hizb commander Riyaz Naikoo. Earlier, reports said that the search operation was launched by a joint party of the army, police and the CRPF following inputs about the presence of militants in the hideout.
Last week, six militants were shot dead by the forces in their hideout in Arampora area of Tral.
