Paramilitary trooper, three civilians injured in Anantnag grenade explosion

A paramilitary trooper and three civilians including a woman were injured after suspected militants lobbed a grenade on CRPF party outside police post Sheerbagh in south Kashmir’s Anantnag district.

A police officer told GNS that some militants hurled a grenade on the forces party resulting in injuries to a CRPF man and three pedestrians including a woman.

All the injured were taken to nearby hospital where condition of the woman is stated to be serious, they said.

Following the incident government forces launched a hunt to nab the assailants.
